Junior Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process client withdrawal transactions and review daily payment instructions accurately and on time
• Monitor multi-currency payment platform balances and investigate unallocated bank deposit queues
• Perform daily reconciliation checks and maintain internal documentation in line with regulatory requirements
• Investigate bank transfer reports and escalate suspicious activity to the Compliance team
• Support post-trade operations, corporate action processing, and manual trade reviews
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline operational workflows and improve processes

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in financial operations, back-office, payments, or a related FinTech role
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured procedures under time pressure
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and performing complex data reconciliation tasks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to escalate issues professionally
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payment platforms or corporate actions
• Knowledge of FCA or ASIC frameworks and client money rules
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL/MySQL, or Bloomberg
• Experience using Zendesk or similar CRM systems
