Junior Night Trader

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems
• Perform real-time risk management, including trade entry and risk layoffs
• Build and maintain trading models to support the established trading business
• Enhance existing trades and identify and pursue new market opportunities
• Liaise between the trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a trading role
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work the night shift (11pm-7am) to cover Asian market hours
• Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
• Proficiency with Excel and VBA
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Advanced aptitude for problem-solving and multitasking
