Junior Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Support multiple air-gapped LANs and WANs using Cisco devices and commands
• Review Technical Security Controls with senior professionals and apply them to network configurations
• Install network hardware as part of technology refreshes
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including network and rack diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering or an IT discipline
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Networking Products
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent) or ability to acquire within 6 months
• Associate-level Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across functions including Cybersecurity, Facilities, and Engineering
