About the role
Responsibilities
- Support project engineers and project managers in delivering assigned projects
- Assist with design activities, equipment selection, procurement, and construction support
- Liaise with clients and client representatives under senior guidance
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, quality logs, and defect resolution
- Monitor progress against budgets, timelines, and weekly look-ahead plans
- Support health, safety, environmental compliance, audits, and incident investigations
Requirements
- NFQ Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Strong communication, written, organizational, and time management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
- Ability to use initiative
- Site or engineering experience is an advantage
