Junior Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Design technological tooling and special equipment
• Collaborate with various project groups, including technologists and production departments
• Implement and integrate tooling into production lines
• Research and identify new solutions and manufacturing technologies
• Perform rapid analysis of equipment failures on the production floor and implement design improvements

Requirements

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering (e.g., Machine Building, Automation, or Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
• Proficiency in Catia CAD system
• Strong technical drawing skills and ability to analyze technical documentation
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and mechanical part control
• Understanding of material selection principles
• Knowledge of health and safety (BHP) and ergonomics in tooling design
• English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience operating machinery such as milling machines, lathes, or presses
• Knowledge of special tooling design principles
• Proficiency in MS Office
