Responsibilities

• Evaluate paint on mechanical parts for corrosion issues
• Operate universal machines to evaluate mechanical properties of parts
• Machine devices and prepare chemical substances for part evaluation
• Manage X-ray equipment, humidity chambers, CASS, NSS, and three-phase chambers
• Operate Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers hardness testers
• Use microscopes and stereoscopes for metallographic evaluation
• Prepare samples for metallography or coating/paint thickness reviews
• Use portable and fixed thickness measurement equipment
• Create reports and presentations regarding sample failure topics

Requirements

• Intermediate English level
• Degree in Automotive, Industrial, or similar Engineering
• 1 to 2 years of laboratory experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and dynamic bench assembly/disassembly
• Proficiency with conventional and CNC lathes and milling machines
• Proficiency in CATIA software
• Knowledge of iron-carbon diagrams, metallographic evaluations, and weld bead assessment
• Knowledge of chemical solution preparation and mechanical property evaluations
• Knowledge of material corrosion, stamping (dies), and drawing interpretation
