Junior Manager, Controllership LATAM

Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting process for LATAM entities, including monthly closings and G/L reconciliations.
• Ensure financial statement disclosures and presentations comply with IFRS, US GAAP, and local accounting principles.
• Act as a liaison between local markets and regional or corporate controllership functions.
• Provide financial analysis, commentary, and actionable insights to commercial, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Oversee internal controls, company policies, and the external statutory audit process for the cluster.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency.
• Maintain reconciliation of Ledger vs. Sub-Ledger and ensure reliable monthly Balance Sheet analysis.
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly and annual corporate reports and local tax compliance information.

Requirements

• Accounting Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, with at least 2 years specifically in Controllership.
• Proficiency with SAP, HFM, and BlackLine.
• Strong command of IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP principles.
• Experience managing statutory audits and the submission of financial statements.
• Fluent English (both written and verbal communication).
• Experience with commercial and trade marketing finance principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within CPG or FMCG companies.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Intermediate Business Intelligence (BI) skills.
• Technical knowledge of SAP services.
