Junior-Level Cartographer

Responsibilities

• Execute feature editing, attribution, and metadata population for enterprise geospatial datasets
• Assist in the acquisition and integration of raster and vector data sources, including imagery and LiDAR
• Conduct baseline QA checks to ensure compliance with government accuracy and quality standards
• Develop standard cartographic map products and perform spatial analyses using ArcGIS Pro
• Package and deliver weekly geodatabase updates and contribute to data quality assessments
• Support onboarding activities and participate in regular team and stakeholder meetings
• Assist in the preparation of monthly status reports and meeting materials

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in management or business with geospatial workflow exposure
• Associate degree in business, finance, engineering, or an IT-related field
• Familiarity with GIS software, particularly ArcGIS Pro
• Basic understanding of geospatial data types, editing tools, and metadata standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to undergo a government-issued background investigation process
