Junior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including supply chain contracts, distribution agreements, NDAs, and lease agreements
• Monitor and ensure compliance with UAE local laws and F&B-specific regulations such as Dubai Municipality and MoIAT
• Provide corporate secretarial support by managing board resolutions, Power of Attorneys (POAs), and trade license renewals
• Assist in developing legal strategies to minimize risk and protect commercial interests
• Handle day-to-day legal claims and manage basic dispute matters while liaising with external counsel
• Maintain a robust tracking system for contract expirations, legal filings, and ongoing litigation

Requirements

• 2–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) within a business environment
• BSc in Law or a J.D. degree
• Strong familiarity with UAE laws, regulations, and the regional corporate landscape
• Proven experience in contract management and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the F&B, Retail, or Hospitality sectors
