Junior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review commercial contracts, internal policies, and other legal documents
• Improve legal processes and operational efficiency through automation and standardization
• Protect intellectual property rights, including trademark registration in the US, EU, and other tier-1 countries
• Conduct legal research and analyze legislation across various international jurisdictions
• Provide legal support for operational activities in North America, Europe, and Central Africa
• Assist in pre-trial dispute resolution and litigation under the supervision of senior colleagues
• Communicate with business partners, law firms, and service providers globally

Requirements

• Fluent English proficiency, including the ability to draft legal documentation
• 1+ year of relevant experience in an international law firm or a Big Four company
• Top-tier law degree from a leading university
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with contract law and intellectual property law
• Strategic thinking and the ability to provide practical business conclusions
• Participation in moot court competitions
