Junior Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analyses and tests on drinking water, industrial water, and effluents to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct specific parameter testing including pH, conductivity, silica, hardness, solids, iron, turbidity, and chlorine presence.
• Manage and dose chemical products required for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain laboratory equipment specifications and ensure all reagents are within their expiration dates.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure food safety and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Review and update analysis procedures in accordance with environmental and internal quality/safety standards.

Requirements

• Technical degree or higher degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work a 6x2 shift schedule.
