Junior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Paris and Bucharest consultancy teams to develop new functionality and solve complex problems.
• Develop applications to integrate with external financial providers and platforms.
• Model functional flows for communication between the client's solution and external systems.
• Participate in an Agile environment using SAFe/Scrum methodologies.
• Contribute to high-quality software development through CI/CD, TDD, and BDD practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Mathematics, or Informatics.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control).
• Knowledge of Unit and Mock testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong understanding of Design and Architectural Patterns.
• Experience with Apache Maven and Git repository management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Spoken English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Knowledge of Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB) and XML Transformations (XSLT, XSD, DTD).
• Experience with Java Message Service (JMS) or Drools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Additional knowledge of financial products.
