Junior IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance work
• Set up and maintain staff accounts
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues reported by staff
• Investigate, diagnose, and solve computer faults
• Repair equipment and replace necessary parts
• Manage stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies
• Maintain accurate records of software licenses

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in IT support
• Knowledge of network topology and connectivity (LAN/WAN)
• Understanding of switching, routing, and server operations
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Strong technical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a midshift schedule (3 PM–11 PM) in Manila

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix, VMware, or Cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Windows Server or MacOS X
• Familiarity with CISCO systems
