Junior IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, effective onsite and remote IT support to minimize downtime
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including tracking, maintenance, and capacity planning
• Manage user lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and access permissions
• Provide IT support for company events
• Create and update technical knowledge documentation
• Collaborate with global IT teams, vendors, and partners
• Implement and enforce IT security policies regarding endpoint protection, VPNs, and file permissions
• Assist the Infrastructure team with network system maintenance and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Prior experience in a professional IT support role
• Proficiency in using Generative AI for workflow automation
• Technical knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office, and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence)
• Experience managing MDM solutions such as InTune, JAMF, or MobiControl
• Strong foundation in Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems
• Understanding of network infrastructure
• Ability to work onsite in Penrose, Auckland, including travel to distribution centres
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in chilled environments
