Junior ISSO

Responsibilities

• Provide daily network oversight to operations, test, and training personnel for SAP/SAR networks and systems
• Support mission connectivity between multiple locations, including FOLs, AOCs, CONUS operational locations, and higher headquarters
• Enforce local Security Policy, Guidance, and Directions
• Recommend changes to the Wing ISSO for INFOSEC policy
• Conduct periodic IS Self-Inspections and report results to government network and security directors
• Assist the Program Security Manager (PSM) and Wing ISSO with monitoring program security health
• Implement IA controls to ensure information security and initiate incident reporting as necessary
• Ensure compliance with the JSIG

Requirements

• Associate's degree in engineering, cyber security, computer science, IT management, or equivalent experience (6 years)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DoD SAP network administration and oversight
• Minimum 2 years of experience applying JAFAN 6/3, ICD 705, or JSIG
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IA management
• Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and IAM Level I certification
• Active Top Secret/SCI with SAP/SAR eligibility
• Authorization to work in the United States
