Junior Intercompany Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day intercompany operations, including invoice processing and service billing
• Post intercompany journal entries and settlements on both sides
• Reconcile and report intercompany balances and eliminate differences
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve transaction issues and handle ad hoc queries
• Support external audit requests and manage balance confirmations
• Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Maintain and update process manuals and relevant work instructions

Requirements

• University or college degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance operations role, ideally within a Shared Service Center (SSC)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables
• Fluent in English
• Proactive, outcome-focused, and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP R3 or S4/HANA
