Junior Innovation Consultant - Energy & Environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and submission of proposals for European funding programmes, including Horizon Europe, LIFE, and the Innovation Fund.
• Support proposal development through technical writing, partner coordination, and administrative preparation.
• Research European funding opportunities to match client innovations with suitable calls.
• Assist in defining project concepts, work packages, and project budgets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Europe to deliver high-quality consulting services.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in EU funding, innovation consulting, or R&D project development.
• A degree in Engineering (Energy, Environmental), Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline. Candidates with backgrounds in Policy or Innovation Management are also encouraged to apply.
• C1 level proficiency in English and fluency in Italian.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• A deep interest in energy transition topics such as decarbonisation, renewable energy, hydrogen, or circular economy.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.
