Junior Implementation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement new business data submissions end-to-end, including defining data formats and coordinating historical data collection.
• Analyse hotel P&L results to understand unique accounting structures and map nominal codes to internal data fields.
• Manage the translation of historical data across reporting periods and resolve balance issues to ensure data integrity.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client data contacts as a trusted point of contact for technical queries.
• Audit and update data mappings to ensure consistency between client-specific accounts and USALI guidelines.
• Collaborate with systems and data analyst teams to support the development of business intelligence tools using Excel and database knowledge.

Requirements

• Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of how databases operate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client management and internal collaboration.
• High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in complex financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data work, financial analysis, or hotel accounting.
• Familiarity with hotel profit benchmarking or financial reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry).
