Junior HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for assigned projects
• Monitor project compliance with environmental legislation, ADNOC Code of Practice, and international standards such as ISO 14001
• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and perform regular site inspections
• Support waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control activities
• Collect and analyze environmental data regarding air quality, noise, waste, and water discharge
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain records for internal and external audits
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with company environmental policies
• Participate in incident investigations related to environmental issues
• Promote environmental awareness among site personnel through toolbox talks and training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Initial experience in environmental engineering
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and environmental management systems
• Knowledge of ADNOC and UAE environmental regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and environmental data analysis tools
• Fluency in English
