Junior Helpdesk Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line IT support for the EMEA region, resolving hardware and software incidents
• Take ownership of issues by performing problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes
• Prioritize and resolve helpdesk issues while accurately documenting requests in the IT service desk system
• Install, configure, and maintain new IT equipment and software for new hires
• Support Local Area Networks and manage asset acquisition and delivery
• Maintain a high level of customer service, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Suggest improvements to the global end-user support experience regarding security and service delivery

Requirements

• IT-related higher education qualification (or in the final year of studies)
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Previous experience in an IT support role and customer service role
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows-based PC hardware
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Driving Licence (Category B)
• Ability and willingness to travel across the EU
• Fluent command of the English language
