Junior Groomer

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform fundamental grooming tasks including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning
• Assist seasoned groomers with the grooming process while prioritizing pet safety and well-being
• Interact professionally with pet parents to provide excellent customer service and address inquiries
• Maintain a clean and sanitized salon environment by disinfecting tools and equipment
• Manage grooming appointments, paperwork, and accurate pet records
• Adhere to all company hygiene, sanitation, and safety policies

Requirements

• 0-1 year of animal-related experience (e.g., shelter volunteering or pet sitting)
• Genuine passion for animals and a desire to build a career in pet grooming
• Basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and common grooming practices
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and empathy
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
