Junior Groomer

Responsibilities

• Perform limited grooming services including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide optimal customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain accurate grooming records
• Adhere to company grooming policies, standards, and guidelines

Requirements

• 0-1 year of animal related experience (shelter volunteering or pet sitting preferred)
• Genuine passion for animals and pet grooming
• Basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and grooming practices
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED
• Prior grooming salon assistance experience
