About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform fuel containment, leak-detection, and equipment integrity testing
  • Identify fuel leaks, compliance concerns, and operational issues
  • Complete petroleum support work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Record and document testing results using calibration tools and digital systems
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teams
  • Travel approximately two weeks per month (lodging covered; home on weekends)
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company procedures
  • Assist senior technicians with field inspections and fuel system evaluations

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel frequently for field assignments and work weekends as needed
  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform physical tasks including kneeling, bending, and standing
  • Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using hand tools or working in mechanical environments
  • Background in trades, construction, industrial, or commercial field work
  • Previous experience in fuel systems, environmental compliance, or maintenance roles
