Junior Frontend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using modern web technologies
• Implement user interface components, application state management, and data visualization features
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and real-time data streams
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and styling systems for consistency
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to validate frontend behavior
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated build systems, and deployment workflows
• Debug and resolve frontend performance issues and cross-browser compatibility concerns
• Work with senior engineers to translate requirements into functional UI designs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 0–5 years of software development experience
• Experience with modern frontend technologies
• Experience with at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of basic web concepts including HTTP, REST APIs, and client-server architecture
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing responsive or data-driven web applications
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test workflows
• Experience with containerized development environments such as Docker
• Exposure to data visualization libraries like D3 or Chart.js
• Familiarity with secure development practices for web applications
