Junior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing integrations, automations, and customizations across DevRev and customers' workflows
• Apply AI techniques, including Generative AI and prompt engineering, under guidance from senior team members
• Conduct basic data analysis, write SQL queries, and help build dashboards to share insights
• Participate in cross-functional communication to ensure requirements and feedback loops are maintained
• Learn new tools and assist in guiding customers through critical workflows

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience (recent graduates welcome)
• Hands-on coding experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts; familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
• Result-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for challenging work and growing as an engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to vector databases, data embeddings, NodeJS, or Golang
• Interest in customer-facing solutions and workflow automation
