Junior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform financial systems data entry, extraction, and manipulation
• Process funding to vendors including execution actions and tracking
• Prepare account reconciliations and conduct accounting research
• Extract and analyze data from internal systems like N-ERP
• Compile financial information into spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
• Perform financial analysis for monthly execution performance reports
• Conduct financial modeling, monthly budgeting, and forecasting
• Respond to ad-hoc report and variance analysis requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Ability to obtain a SECRET Government Security Clearance
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Outlook)
• Minimum of one year of professional experience
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of financial management or consulting experience
• Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
• Knowledge of the government planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process (PPBE)
• Background in accounting or government finance
