Responsibilities

  • Debug and diagnose failed hardware, including collars and tower components, to identify root causes
  • Contribute to investigating high-impact failure modes through hands-on technical work
  • Develop processes and ways of working to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce no-fault-founds
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, production, supplier quality, and networking teams to close the feedback loop between field performance and engineering

Requirements

  • Electronics engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience debugging hardware
  • Experience diagnosing field failures and understanding relationships between in-field events and product failures
  • Excellent communication skills for sharing technical findings
  • First-principles approach to root cause analysis
  • Strong sense of ownership and bias for action

Preferred Qualifications

  • A deep curiosity and methodical approach to complex electromechanical systems
