Junior External Assembly Technician/Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the assembly of turbines and accessories, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
• Coordinate site personnel and subcontractors
• Enforce occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports regarding site work
• Represent the company on-site and manage interests regarding claim management
• Travel primarily to France and Africa, with occasional international travel
• Provide support during the commencement of commissioning
• Participate proactively in feedback and lessons learned processes

Requirements

• Technical training such as polymécanicien or mécanicien-électricien
• Experience in workshop or site installation of rotating machinery
• Experience as an installation supervisor or a technician looking to evolve into a supervisory role
• Native French fluency and excellent English proficiency
• Pragmatic approach with strong organizational and anticipation skills
• Ability to work under stress and adapt to different cultures

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience within the hydropower sector
• Proficiency in German or Spanish
