Junior Executive - Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage and track various logistics operations, including product shipments and inventory flow from origin to final delivery
• Optimize supply chain efficiency by recommending improvements to existing logistical processes and planning
• Research and interpret logistics data, including transportation costs, parts procurement, and delivery processes
• Prepare performance reports and metrics such as on-time delivery and order fulfillment rates
• Maintain accurate logistics databases and documentation in accordance with corporate policies
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to manage rates, schedules, and service levels
• Monitor industry trends and implement cost-effective transportation solutions, including load consolidation and route optimization
• Support environmental initiatives by tracking carbon-output and selecting carriers with lower environmental impacts

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically in materials management
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
