Junior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review ITT documents and highlight relevant tender information and specifications
• Assist the Estimating team with material take-offs from ITT documents
• Collaborate with the team to ensure bid compliance with project specifications
• Utilize Microsoft Project for programming of works
• Develop proficiency in Conquest estimating software
• Maintain the Cost library database to ensure up-to-date rates
• Source new suppliers and nurture existing relationships for competitive rates
• Participate in weekly tender list review meetings
• Compile compliant submission documents including programs, methodology, and pricing
• Conduct site visits to understand company expectations and work delivery
• Undergo training on contracts and commercial aspects

Requirements

• 2-5 years of on-site engineering or agent experience
• Ability to read and comprehend construction, fabrication, and engineering drawings
• Understanding of practical project delivery and cost-engineering
• Skill in identifying project risks during the tender stage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
