Junior Equity Trader

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across U.S. equity markets in line with Portfolio Manager direction and best execution standards
• Monitor market conditions, liquidity, and pricing to support efficient trade execution
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
• Identify opportunities to enhance trading workflows, controls, and operational efficiency
• Assist in developing and refining trading procedures, reporting, and execution processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and counterparties

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in equities trading (buy-side or sell-side)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. equity markets and market structure
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers and counterparties
• Experience working in a fast-paced trading environment
• Strong understanding of trade execution, liquidity dynamics, and best execution practices
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
