Junior Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with the installation, commissioning, and validation of lithium battery production equipment
• Support equipment acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and documentation
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
• Collect and analyze equipment performance and downtime data
• Support parameter adjustments and continuous improvement projects
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams including process engineering and quality
• Adhere to company safety policies and EHS requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships or co-ops accepted)
• Basic understanding of industrial equipment or manufacturing systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/factory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience with automated production equipment
• Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, or servo systems
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Mandarin language skills
