Junior Environmental Monitoring Inspector and Driver

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and sampling according to inspection orders, procedures, and SGS operating instructions under supervision
• Keep the Lead Inspector, Coordinator, or Project Leader informed about inspection progress
• Participate in service opening and closing meetings
• Prepare inspection-related documentation
• Report non-conformities to the Lead Inspector or Operations Coordinator to apply corrective measures
• Submit operating/travel expense reports and service deliverables within agreed timelines
• Report on the status of monitoring equipment and vehicles, including maintenance and calibration needs
• Participate in safety briefings and complete Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) forms
• Generate monthly reports of substandard acts or conditions in Intelex

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Technical degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields
• Minimum 12 months of experience in environmental monitoring (preferred)
• Availability to work rotating shifts
• Availability to travel
• Valid driver's license (A1 for at least 3 years or A2b for at least 2 years)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
