Junior Engineer - Quality

Responsibilities

• Carry out supplier validation audits and support supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP)
• Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing capabilities and HSE risks
• Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards
• Perform root cause analysis and verify corrective actions through on-site supplier visits
• Review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate on process improvement opportunities
• Promote continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and PFMEA
• Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects
• Support the Quality Manager in monitoring and reporting on supplier performance
• Manage and coordinate supplier cost recovery for quality issues
• Support internal and external audit readiness

Requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in E&TC, EEE, or Mechanical Engineering
• 0 to 1 years of experience with strong knowledge of Quality principles
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, and FMEA
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and measurement techniques
• Familiarity with TS16949, ISO45001/OHSAS18001, and ISO14001 standards
