Junior Engineer QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test finished goods/pallets according to Plant RQP to ensure all quality parameters are met.
• Interpret test results and present conclusions to production personnel and management regarding specifications.
• Maintain direct responsibility for standards verification, including the acceptance or rejection of manufactured cans.
• Ensure all production adheres to established hygiene and food safety requirements (BRC standards).
• Safely operate, calibrate, and maintain quality laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Perform incoming material checks and in-process measures as requested by the Quality Supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Maintain strict housekeeping and hygiene standards in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a high-speed, high-volume continuous process (FMCG background preferred).
• Diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of external quality and environmental standards, specifically ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or FSSC 22000.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to manage computerized data.
• Proficiency in document control.
• Ability to communicate in English and local languages.
