Junior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid project engineers in the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) of wireless and robotic remote weapon stations
• Embed with USG-led Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to participate in planning and tracking activities
• Support technical documentation reviews and configuration management activities
• Review technical drawings and assist in the mechanical design and modification of parts using SolidWorks and Creo
• Support component and system level tests, perform root cause analysis, and correct deficiencies
• Assist in the physical integration of hardware, configuration mapping, and associated troubleshooting

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering curriculum at an accredited College or University
• Basic knowledge of entry-level Mechanical and Robotics Engineering
• Institutional knowledge or experience with Root Cause Analysis and Configuration Mapping
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks and Creo software packages
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

• Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with unfamiliar technologies and software packages
