Junior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, and evaluation of multi-modal sensor systems including RF, optical, and mechanical domains
• Participate in field experiments, aerospace facility testing, and prototype development
• Manage test planning, setup, execution, and data collection in dynamic environments such as labs and flight lines
• Analyze technical results to validate system performance and effectiveness
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists to track progress and identify technical risks
• Translate complex technical work into clear updates for program leadership and decision-makers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science
• 2–7 years of professional experience (graduate research experience is applicable)
• Experience working with sensor systems, including design, integration, or testing
• Active Top Secret US Government Clearance (must be SCI eligible)
• US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with RF, optical, or embedded sensor design
• Hands-on experience with field work, prototype development, or supporting technical demonstrations
• Familiarity with data analysis, signal processing, or modeling tools
• Experience working within R&D systems builds or production-level programs
