Junior EGSE and Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop test equipment for satellite electronic units
• Design and support the manufacturing of electrical test equipment and cable harnesses
• Produce technical design documentation including electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
• Assist the engineering team with technical analyses and the writing of test procedures
• Support the procurement, manufacturing, and validation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
• Participate in the hands-on testing of satellite electronic units

Requirements

• BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• 0 to 2 years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience in electronic design
• Proficiency in printed circuit board (PCB) design
• Strong interest in laboratory work and a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work irregular business hours to support production operations
• Ability to obtain and hold security clearance (Reliability status) and pass assessments for CGP and ITAR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Diptrace or equivalent PCB CAD tools
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, or PSoC programming
• Familiarity with microcomputers such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino
• Knowledge of stepper motors and drives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Visio
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
