Junior Editorial Designer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the art editing of textbooks, from graphic projects and covers to technical finishing for printing
• Perform layout and project adjustments, ensuring visual quality and fidelity to the established layout
• Manage production flow, strictly controlling deadlines and budgets for assigned projects
• Act as a direct liaison with external suppliers and internal editorial clients
• Perform curation and purchase of illustrations and cartographic maps

Requirements

• Technical knowledge in layout, art editing, finishing, and graphic production
• Experience in editorial processes and understanding of book production stages
• Experience with the purchase and technical evaluation of illustrations and cartography
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
• Availability for a hybrid work model (2 days in the São Paulo office)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of specific tools such as Woodwing and MathType
• Familiarity with AI applied to Design (e.g., Adobe Firefly and other emerging tools)
