Junior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain modern Data Platform cloud infrastructure using Azure services
• Deploy Azure Landing Zones in alignment with Microsoft best practices
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to manage components like Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Automate deployment processes using Azure DevOps, Terraform, BICEP, YAML, and PowerShell
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems via Azure Monitor
• Optimize the performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and Data Platforms
• Document procedures, configurations, and technical best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency with Azure Cloud technologies
• Experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Working knowledge of GIT and Azure DevOps
• Experience with CI/CD YAML Pipelines
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using BICEP or Terraform
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor
• Understanding of modern data platform components within Azure
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn based on feedback
• Proven written and spoken English fluency

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104, or AZ-700
• Experience with C# .NET
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions
• Experience with T-SQL
• Understanding of Networking within Azure
