Junior Developer

Responsibilities

• Evolution and maintenance of the VIRED Web application (GIS)
• Functional and graphic improvement of existing applications
• Optimization of communication with the VIRED client application via APIs
• Troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Design and implementation of new functionalities based on user demand
• User requirement gathering and documentation
• Detailed specification of functional requirements
• Design and execution of user testing cases
• Creation of end-user manuals

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Higher Vocational Training in Web Application Development (DAW) or Computer Application Development (DAI)
• Intensive web/software development bootcamp (minimum 6 months)
• Intermediate level in JavaScript and PHP
• Basic-intermediate level in C#
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design
• Experience with JSON and REST APIs
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Basic notions of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• OpenLayers knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenLayers
• Knowledge of GIS systems
