Junior Detailer

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and updating shop drawings based on contract documents
• Learn to read and interpret construction drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel
• Check drawings for accuracy and completeness before approval or fabrication
• Maintain drawing updates in project files
• Support coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field teams
• Participate in training on company and industry detailing standards
• Perform basic measuring and data collection tasks during supervised site visits

Requirements

• 2-4 year college degree required
• Basic understanding of drafting principles; construction knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SDS/2, or Tekla) preferred; training provided
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
