Junior Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to support demand forecasting
• Collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources
• Assist in developing and updating demand forecasts using established methodologies
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock positioning
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand plans
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to track demand planning metrics
• Support the identification and implementation of process improvements
• Maintain and update demand planning systems and databases
• Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of demand planning principles and inventory management
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or planning
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with demand forecasting or sales operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of statistical analysis or forecasting software
