Junior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure data quality
• Extract and engineer features from raw data to improve model performance
• Assist in implementing, testing, and tuning machine learning algorithms
• Perform hypothesis testing, A/B experiments, and exploratory data analysis
• Create impactful visualizations and reports using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau
• Work collaboratively within agile teams and participate in code reviews

Requirements

• 2–3 years in data science or related roles
• Proficient in Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts like regression, classification, and clustering
• Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Keras, XGBoost, Git, or MLflow
• Exposure to cloud-based ML services like AWS SageMaker, GCP, or Azure ML
• Knowledge of natural language processing or computer vision
• Contributions to open-source projects or research publications
