Junior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from market, fundamental, and operational sources
• Develop and validate predictive models, such as wind generation and demand forecasting, to support trading strategies
• Prototype, back-test, and refine data-driven trading ideas in collaboration with analytics and development teams
• Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and automated tooling to streamline workflows
• Utilize LLMs and agentic frameworks to accelerate exploratory data analysis (EDA) and automate data cleaning
• Stay current with the evolving AI landscape, including RAG, Agents, and Multimodal models
• Partner with traders, risk managers, and software engineers to integrate insights into real-time decision-making
• Maintain clear documentation of methodologies, data definitions, and model specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
• Experience with data analysis and manipulation tools including Pandas, NumPy, and SQL
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn
• Experience programmatically integrating LLMs via APIs, LangChain, or Python scripts
• Proven ability to build custom "Agents" or automated workflows to interpret unstructured data
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A proactive and flexible work mentality with an interest in data-driven trading

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of excellence in quantitative or analytical roles
• Experience working with time-series data or machine learning libraries
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive end-to-end solutions
