Junior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy data collectors in Adverity to gather data from media and agency systems
• Develop and expand data transformations in SQL via DBT on Google Cloud Platform
• Maintain data quality checks and procedures to ensure reporting accuracy
• Translate user requirements and business needs into technical specifications
• Monitor automated jobs and troubleshoot data issues
• Support the visualization of data within Google Data Studio reports and dashboards
• Provide technical leadership and support to junior staff and users

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, preferably with advertising or marketing data
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Professional experience with SQL and DBT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital marketing platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, TikTok)
• Understanding of digital advertising data tracking and ad servers
• Experience with business intelligence software like Microsoft PowerBI
• Previous work experience within a marketing organization or media agency
