Junior Criminal Analyst

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze employer I-9 forms, payroll records, and corporate filings to identify compliance gaps
• Query and cross-reference law enforcement and commercial databases to detect investigative anomalies
• Draft accurate case summaries, analytical reports, and findings to support enforcement actions
• Contribute to liaison activities between national and international investigative programs
• Maintain meticulous case files in compliance with DHS/ICE data handling and privacy protocols
• Prepare briefing materials for site visits and senior staff engagements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, law, or related field
• 1-2 years of professional experience in compliance, investigations, or legal support
• Strong analytical and research skills for synthesizing large volumes of data
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform high-volume, accurate data entry and database queries
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ICE suitability determination
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federal law enforcement or regulatory agencies
• Familiarity with Form I-9 compliance and E-Verify
• Prior exposure to HSI, ICE, or other DHS component operations
• Experience handling sensitive or law enforcement-controlled data
• Proficiency with government database systems or investigative case management platforms
