About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate crew change planning for an assigned fleet of 5-7 vessels in compliance with international maritime standards
- Communicate crew needs to Danaos sites and manning offices
- Screen and monitor seafarers’ application forms and certificates
- Coordinate the logistics of daily crew movement and execution
- Coordinate and arrange all traveling and ticketing
Requirements
- Degree in Shipping, Maritime, or a relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience as a Crew Operator
- Familiarity with STCW and MLC conventions
- Computer literacy
- Fluency in English
- Strong troubleshooting, organizing, and attention to detail skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Danaos Software
