Junior Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, modifying, and implementing company policies, procedures, and frameworks to reflect industry best practices and regulatory changes
• Maintain oversight of relevant Compliance registers
• Provide compliance advisory, monitoring, and training services to the Line 1 business
• Perform risk assessments regarding compliance risks
• Work with the Risk Team to identify compliance risks and design appropriate controls for the risk register
• Assist with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) matters

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in financial services, specifically within financial markets
• Understanding of AFSL and AML/CTF obligations
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply sound judgment
• Demonstrated ability to handle information in a discrete and confidential manner
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work as a team player
