Junior Civil Structural Drafting Engineer

Responsibilities

• Produce and update construction drawings under the guidance of Intermediate and Senior Engineers
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, detailing, and revisions for structural, bridge, utility, or road projects
• Support design development tasks and the creation of temporary works drawings
• Collect and organize technical information, site data, and design references
• Ensure all drawings follow office standards and comply with project-specific and international codes
• Maintain proper version control and filing for all technical documents and drawings
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely delivery and implement feedback from internal reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering
• 0–3 years of experience, with internship or academic project experience in construction drawings being acceptable
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
• Basic understanding of structural or civil engineering principles
• Basic English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to take direction and work effectively under supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UAE and international engineering standards
• Previous exposure to infrastructure or large-scale construction projects
